The Columbus Regional Airport Authority (CRAA) oversees operations of three airports that serve passenger, cargo, and general aviation needs throughout the Columbus region. To assist in their goal to develop an enterprise GIS/asset management environment, CMT and Axim (formerly GIS Inc.), another Cityworks Business Partner, were engaged to develop a strategic plan. The discovery phase focused on vision, interviews, assessment of current GIS and CAD environments, challenges, opportunities, and business goals. Our team established initial operating capabilities that outlined a two-phase implementation plan. This included a user needs assessment to prioritize application, as well as dashboard and workflow configurations to support CRAA’s needs.
